Thank you for visiting. Drawing and doodling have been a major part of my life as long as I can remember. As a young girl born and raised in northern Ontario, I remember my grade 5 teacher Miss McGregor telling me I had a talent. Not being real sure of what she meant then, I find now that she was not far off as I feel I have been given a gift. To be able to bring people to life on a piece of paper with a pencil gives me a wonderful feeling. Pursuing this passion and being able to share these creations with others is indeed a gift for me.
All through high school, with grades not always A’s and B’s, I always managed to land an A+ in art class. Built on the inspiration of two other teachers, Mr. Leriche and Mr O'Connor, to draw to my hearts content, I found that because I loved it so much it wasn't at all like doing schoolwork. I spent so much of my young life with pencil in hand that I could not begin to count the hours.
After high school and now out in the real world, I found myself putting my drawing aside for a real paying job. Later started my family, being a mom of three beautiful girls, they became my passion. Now that they are all grown up and on their own, I find I have the time to pursue my love of drawing. Since I have picked up my pencil again and began drawing, with the avid encouragement of Dennis, the person dear to me in my life now, the passion for drawing has been stronger than ever.
Being able to share this gift with people gives me great happiness and warmth. I hope you enjoy my drawings and please let me know what you think.
Suzie
